Independent, proud, a free-spirit. An outside-the-box thinker. An artist, she looks at things more abstractly rather than literally. Unfortunately, that seems to form a barrier between her and others who don’t get it and won’t try, often viewing her as odd or difficult.
She and Armor are involved, and even though he has trouble understanding her, he does try hard and respects her space, which she appreciates. She is very observant and considerate and is disappointed with others when they aren’t. Many confide in her and seek her advice as she’s able to put a new spin on a situation that often eludes others.
She and Lionheart have grand conversations on all subjects. She endorses Lionheart as leader of the BRAT PACK (the female pack of the SCRUFFY PUPPIES), which was a surprise to most as Dakota is older, respected, and was expected to lead the Brat Pack when Armor split the pack. No conflict ensued however, as Dakota recognized her ability to govern herself didn’t necessarily translate well when having to govern others. Plus she needs her alone time, not often possible if she was leading.
Dakota is one of the few who kept her childhood name, not feeling the need to project her view of herself onto others. After all, she is who she is, and others should know and respect that. And if they don’t then she doesn’t need them. She has a clever sarcastic sense of humor and has the ability to light up a room. Dakota is able to handle herself in most any situation, although she does tend to have to keep her emotional reactions in check. She is an interesting mix, an emotional intellectual who often roams somewhere between both worlds, occasionally favoring one extreme or another.
She’s long and wiry, and surprisingly strong, which usually takes others by surprise who view her as physically weak. She often gets the upper-hand in confrontations with finger and joint locks, plus she’s good with a pistol with both hands.
