CRUSHER

Real Name: Buster
Breed: Great Dane

A HUGE beast! Immense in size and strength. Capable of incredible feats of strength that wow and amaze his siblings. Even more amazing is the fact that all this solid mass came from an insecure jolly fat kid. As he matured, he got tired of being the butt of jokes so he hit the weights, hit the weights, and hit-the-weights! Now he’s statuesque.

He went through a stage where his insecurities drove his actions as he beat up on everyone – he had been picked on most his life, and now it was his turn to return the favor! But he’s grown past that now, knows now how colossal he is, and he doesn’t have anything to prove to anybody. In fact, he may be the most docile of all the pack.

Very happy-go-lucky, enjoys exchanging jokes and playful jabs. Has fun with everything he does- after all, if it’s not fun, why do it? Almost inseparable from Scavenger, his best friend. When these two get together- look out! You never know what prank or gag they may pull. He’s never mean, and anytime he teases it’s in good faith.

He’s intelligent as well, he’s a laymen scientist and a computer wiz, although he has to use a customized extra- large keyboard because it’s so hard for him to hit just one key with his big thick fingers. He’s developed a big dislike for modern weaponry, views guns as tools for the weak and cowardly. A real dog doesn’t need to use them.

Socially, he’s somewhat inept when it comes to the ladies. He gets nervous and fidgety, and struggles to find words. This frustrates him, particularly when it comes to vying for position to win Musket’s favor. He freezes up while the suave Scavenger is able to recite lines of poetry effortlessly. Although this causes some tension between him and Scavenger, Crusher takes everything in stride when it comes to his best friend, and is more frustrated with his own inadequacies in this area than anything else.
