Leader of the SCRUFFY PUPPIES. He took over due to the declining health of ELDER, his father. One of the younger of his siblings, he has struggled to win his older siblings’ confidence as the “Alpha-male”. Though not as tall as most his siblings, he’s stocky, strong, and extremely tough. Loyal, protective, intelligent and stubborn - it’s hard to change his mind once he’s made it. Tempermental, but he’s learned to control his anger as he recognizes the harm it’s done when he acts on it. He is from a wild breed which makes him more vicious, ruthless, and saavy in confrontations.

ARMOR is the reason the SCRUFFY PUPPIES split up into two packs: THE SCRUFFY PUPPIES, and their sister pack: THE BRAT PACK, as his breed’s instincts have the males and females run in seperate packs. This has caused resentment from several of his siblings. He has the ability to make wise compromising decisions, but because of his youth and the pressure he puts on himself to lead, he tends to fall into the habit of imposing his dominance over others. He’s extremely protective of the pack and would think nothing of tearing someone apart to protect them. He’s particularly fond of MOUTH due to his disabilities.

ARMOR’s weakness is DAKOTA, and the relationship he unnecessarily sacrificed to perform his duties as the Alpha-male simply because he was too short-sighted to see any other way around it. He’s been regretting it ever since, but isn’t sure how he can make things right, if ever. He finds her perplexing, brooding nature compelling in every way, but no matter how close he gets he always feels he will never be able to fully enter her world.

Physically, he is in tip-top shape. He has above normal vision for a canine, and excellent hearing. However, he has a bad sense of smell, highly unusual for canines, complicated further by a deviated septum. He’s practically disabled in this sense, the most delicate of the senses of his species. Although he is a great fighter, he is a poor tracker, and prone to attackers who can move silently, such as felines.
